There is in this country a tense feeling because of the recession. Many people have lost jobs and may have also lost their home and everything else. The times have been a little tough for many families and that has caused a lot of stress across the country. This stress has translated into a lot of tension. All of the troubles in the finances in this country have been blamed on the banking and the real estate industry. However, that is not necessarily fair. While they certainly should shoulder some of the blame, along with the real estate industry they are not the only ones that need to take the blame.
There is a lot of people in this country that knew that they were buying things that they could not really afford. They knew that they were constantly manipulating the system in order to get things that they just did not have the money or budget to purchase. That actually brings us to the credit card industry as well. Credit card companies have gotten out of control as well with their extension of credit and the associated interest and fees that they charge to the victims of their extension of credit.
In the end, we each have responsibility individually, but collectively the credit unions and banks that lent the money beyond their own reach and required being bailed out do carry some of the weight of this tough recession. They are also the ones who will take risks in order to lead this country back from the down turn in the economy.
